Pool Rummy Game

Pool Rummy is a famous Rummy format, also known as the Syndicate. In this type of Indian card rummy, the player who scores the minimum points or who is left on the table is declared as the winner or victorious, the main aim of each player is to keep his score low. From 2 to 6 players can play together in the game of pool rummy. There are 2 major kinds of Pool Rummy, they are

101 Pool Rummy

201 Pool Rummy

In 101 and 201 Rummy, when a player reaches the score of 101 points or 201 points respectively, then he is eliminated from the game and the player who manages to keep his score below the mentioned points until the end wins the game.

The winning game player should consist the hand of the one pure series (without jokers) and one of other series (with or without the jokers) and all other rummy cards might be melded into sets of three cards or four cards or card player be able to create the straight sequences or series with the existing cards.

The point value is considered as the winning game player acquires 0 points & others obtain points for remaining cards that unable to meld into valid series or sets.

101 Pool Rummy

  • In Pool Rummy Game, there is an option to drop.
  • Drop at 1st round gets 20 points, at the middle drop gets 40 points and the full count is 80 points.
  • In each game, there will be a wild joker and two printed jokers  
  • The winning hand should consist the hand of one pure sequence (without jokers) and one other sequence (with or without jokers)
  • The point values are added at the end of the each round
  • Player who reached the point limits is eliminated from the game.
  • After all, players have left the game the last player remaining is announced as the winner.

201 Pool Rummy

  • Every gameplay, the game player with the minimum score is declared as the winner. 
  • In Pool Rummy Game, there is an option to drop.
  • Drop at 1st round player gets 25 points, at the middle drop gets 50 points and the full count is 80 points.
  • In each game, there are a wild joker and two printed jokers  
  • The winning hand should consist the hand of one pure sequence (without jokers) and one other sequence (with or without jokers)
  • The point values are added at the end of the each round
  • The player who reached the point limits is eliminated from the game.
  • At last who is having the least number of points wins the game.

Deals Rummy Game

Deals Rummy is the game format where rummy is players play for a fixed number of deals. Every player has the same of chips at the beginning of the game and the deals are also fixed. Each and every deal, the player with the highest chips is declared as the winner and losing players have to surrender the chips. 2 to 6 players can be played on a table. At the end of the, all the deals the player with maximum chips will be the winner. Usually, one or more card pack is used in deals rummy. Each card pack consists of 52 cards plus one Joker card. The number of deals is pre-decided.

Best of 3 Deals Rummy

Best of 2 Deals Rummy

    • Played by 2 players only. 
    • Both players have to play 2 deals
    • The player who has the valid card sequences and card set scores ‘0’ points and the player with invalid card sequences get 80 points.
    • If the tie takes place in the second round, 3rd round is played to determine the winner. 
    • In Deal Rummy, the player does not have the option to drop cards.
    • In Deal Rummy, the player does not have the option to re-join.
    • Both players have 160 points each. ( 2 deals X points)
    • 2 Printed Jokers and Cut Jokers in all the deals.
    • Full Count = Max 80 points
    • To win, you need:

* One Straight sequence without any Joker

* One more sequence with/without Joker

* Remaining cards can be melded into sets of 3 or 4 cards

Best of 3 Deals Rummy

    • Both players must play 3 rounds.
    • Played by 2 players only.
    • The player who has the valid card sequences and card set scores ‘0’ points and the player with invalid card sequences get 80 points
    • The highest point value is 80 
    • At the last round ( 3rd Round) who’s having the highest number of points wins the game
    • 2 Printed Jokers and Cut Jokers in all the deals.
    • If the game tie in the third round, 4th round is played to determine the winner.
    • In Deal Rummy, the player does not have the option to drop cards.
    • In Deal Rummy, the player does not have the option to re-join.
    • Full Count = Max 80 points
    • To win, you need:

* One Straight sequence without any Joker

* One more sequence with/without Joker

* Remaining cards can be melded into sets of 3 or 4 cards
